Willow baskets with liner bags, hand-made rosettes or buttons, and bells.

The baskets are woven by a basketmaker in Herefordshire out of unstripped willow allowing for variation in tone and texture. Each basket measures 22 cm in diameter and 32 cm in height (including handles) although slight variations will occur because of the nature of the material.

The liner bag is made of ecru herringbone wool-linen on the outside and blue chambray wool-linen-silk on the inside. Red piping on the edges and red bar tacking on the sides.

The bag is secured by lengths of unbleached cotton tape fastened with bowline knots around the basket.

The bag draws to close with unbleached cotton braided cords. The ends are finished in cotton shirting or Liberty cotton.

The exterior of the basket is decorated with bells in steel in small, medium or large sizes.

Each BLUE MONDAY BASKET comes with either rosettes or buttons made from cotton shirting and Liberty cotton. No two baskets have the same combination. Some of the embellishments are detachable so you can arrange it to your preference.

Your BLUE MONDAY BASKET will arrive packed in a custom-made wire stitched rigid cardboard box and tied with unbleached cotton herringbone weave tape.

It will also come with a personalised and dated product card. The pictured sample is for me!
